INTRODUCTION

This Privacy Policy explains how 777Pets, a Florida nonprofit animal welfare organization (“we,” “us,” or “our”), collects, uses, and protects personal information submitted through our video submission program. By submitting content to our program, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy.

1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

  • Required Information: full name, email address, PayPal email, ID (for verification and payment), country and state of residence, video file, submission timestamp and IP address.

  • Optional Information: pet’s name, breed, age, social media handle (for credit).

  • Automatic Collection: browser, device data, cookies, referring pages, and session details.

2. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

  • Manage and review submissions.

  • Process $25 payments for accepted videos.

  • Enter accepted submissions into the monthly giveaway (10 winners of interactive pet toys).

  • Communicate about status, updates, and prize draws.

  • Publish and distribute selected videos across our platforms.

  • Ensure compliance with laws and security standards.

3. LEGAL BASIS FOR PROCESSING

We process information based on consent, contract performance, legitimate interests, and legal obligations.

4. DATA SHARING

  • Internal staff (limited access).

  • Service providers (video hosting, payments, cloud, analytics).

  • Legal obligations (court orders, compliance).

We never sell your information.

5. DATA STORAGE & SECURITY

  • Stored on secure servers in the U.S.

  • Protected by encryption, access controls, and regular audits.

  • Breach notification will be provided as required by Florida law.

6. DATA RETENTION

  • Non-selected submissions: deleted within 90 days.

  • Selected submissions: retained up to 5 years.

  • Account data: retained until deletion request or 2 years inactivity.

8. CHILDREN’S PRIVACY

  • No collection from children under 16 without parental consent.
